Getting in the Halloween Spirit

Halloween has come early to our house.  Actually I was asked to sub during BUNCO night and I promised to bring dessert.  Nothing better than bite size mini chocolate cupcakes with buttercream frosting.  I made the stand as well, thanks to the amazing creativity of my friend Stephanie.  Looks like I've got a Halloween themed birthday party coming up very soon.  And what is Halloween without delicious, beautiful sugar cookies? Stay tuned!

Ray & Paige's Big Day

Ray & Paige were married September 18th, 2010.   For their wedding I made a 8" carrot cake with cream cheese frosting & 100 red velvet cupcakes with buttercream frosting.

Jesi's Sweet 16

This was actually my first attempt at FONDANT decorating. Thank you Jesi for being my guinea pig. Your next birthday will be much better because now I have skills.

Pretty in Pink

For being the biggest tomboy growing up, I was amazed at how girly this cake is. This cake was also the first one I sold, and boy was I inspired. I got some feedback from my coworker, who purchased it for her sister in law, and she said the cake was just as delicious as it was beautiful.

Both tiers were white cakes with fresh bananas and banana pudding filling.
